Would you be able to deliver them? And how soon do you need to get rid of them?
I would love a mini milker, and we have a large field that hasn't been mowed in years, so they would love it here. But the fences are in need of work, so I would need some time to repair them.

We left the city of SD about a year ago but the closest place I had found was San Diego Pet Supply http://www.sandiegopetsupply.com/home.htm. It's located downtown at 1490 Island Ave. (the cross street is 15 St.), their # is (619) 263-2211. They had all the supplies I needed for my...
I was informed today by the nice lady at the WSDA (Washington State Dept. of Agriculture) that if I do decide to sell eggs at the Farmers Market I would be subject to surprise inspections. Thankfully there would be no charge! Of course this is after I pay $45 to get fully licensed. I could...

Anyone producing Cut Comb?
I was wondering if you need a special super like you do for the Ross Rounds, or if you just use the Cut-comb foundation in a normal super. And if that is the case, what size super do you use, medium or shallow?
Does anyone ever have any problems with bears? We will be getting our Bees in a few months and I'm not sure if I should set up an electric fence as a preventative or wait until it becomes an issue. We had a bear pass through the property last fall, but since this is only our second year here...

We're moving to Washington and I need to get a Health Cert. for both of my girls. Every vet in the city seems very expenisve. I found one in East Co. who will check them both out for $95 (Cert. included).
Anyone know where I can get it done for less?
Thanks!

If the distance is truly 5 sq. feet per bird, I would be in violation of this law. We free range during the day but are locked up at night for safety. I think my two girls in the backyard have...
Thanks for the help!
What do you guys think about frozen foods?
I have some tater tots, a TV dinner, and bagel bites. They are all defrosted, cool, but defrosted.
This is such bad timing!!
But at least the meat for dinner is defrosted!!
And the stash of girl scout cookies, I'm ok...
So the kids were fooling around under the desk yesterday trying to get the cat. I gave them the 'that's not the place to play' talk. And today when I went to get out meat for dinner I realized the freezer got unplugged during this adventure.
The frozen veggies are all defrosted - can I...
