Angie, are you ordering Silkies? We will probably need another Silkie rooster for our flock as well. We'd like to focus more on the white color.

A few days ago I pulled back the mulch and put in a bunch of chicken poop. I cleaned out the coops and didn't want to waste the resources. I have also heard that all the wood in the bed can cause a shortage of nitrogen. The chicken poo helps with that.

I wish i could get piles of mulch dumped on my property! There is a farm nearby that gets it and I go get it, but it would be much easier for them to bring it to me :)

I do have a source for adults. We were hoping to build our own flock so the keets would be accustomed to this being their home.

What types of things do you plant on them?
