I have a wood burning stove in my basement and typically just dump the ashes out in our outdoor burn pit when we clean it out.
Would it be okay to give them to my chickens instead so they can dust in it? Just wondering if anyone has done this or heard of it being done? Thanks! :)
I'm going to be following this thread because my Silkie, Ethel is showing the same symptoms as yours! I figured it might be an impacted crop, but it doesn't really seem like it.
