My fault, she did ask me which ones they were and my Aussie accent makes a few words sound like others. I'm sure she can give examples. All I know of the hootenanny is, I heard her out there yelling at them "The night doesn't just belong to you owls!!"
Yes! but would it be big enough for ALL of your chickens? That is the question I always ask  Someone I know personally contaminated me with this dreadful disease a few years ago. 🪛🔨🪚 Pass me the tools dear.
Too late?? 😭 Blame Sour Roses! She told me I had till today and I worked so hard on it too with my recently surgeried hand and arm! Sigh! well here it is anyways. Watermelon and cantaloupe shaved ice (with juice) and topped with Banana and strawberry pearls. Gekko wanted some 😁
If the crowing isn't enough, a couple of our roosters stand there making this whining squeaky groaning noise for what seems like hours! It's the most irritating sound I ever heard. (probably cause I'm getting older and cranky) Then the hens join in with their louder version because the favorite...
I have had a hen go broody because she could hear cheeping from our brooder (store bought chicks) I swear it took all of a day. So go to Tractor supply and record those babies then play it back to her :jumpy :D
What SourRoses said ^ I often see our chickens eating some and other times they are limping around almost hog tied with the stuff! :thNote - they do eventually get free of it and don't seem to worried about their impeded progress.
I got very tired of the leghorns flying over fencing and up onto the shed roof and up onto the back deck even though I blocked the steps. Basically wherever they wanted to go they went :barnie The one hen we have left seems to be much more "grounded" And I only keep her because of her eggs :D
Becky's Mom here. I doubt she'll pick up a knife again  I should have been the one doing it as I've been a chef for years, but she was determined to give it a go! She got to eat dinner with plastic :lau
