    HELP!!

I have two male/female rouen ducks, I built them a coop almost a year ago, and the will only go in there to eat, and stay outside the rest of the time. Well, we are in for some brutal Michigan winter weather 30-50 below zero windchills. They have been fine with the straw I have put out for them...

No one picking on him that I see, it's only him and 5 hens. Don't see any lice on him, or anything else, and it's only his head feathers, and none of the 5 hens are showing any signs of losing feathers.

    Losing feathers

I have a 5 month old rooster losing all his head feathers. Hes housed with 5 hens that show no signs of losing feathers. Is this normal in 80*+ temps? Never seen this before and this is my this flock I've raised.

    Sexing ducks

Is that a sliver lace doo for your profile picture? I bought 4 pullets when I bought the ducks, and ended up with one roo. These are the best chicks I have bought for being friendly.

I guess that would explain why he is so protective of the Khaki when I let the baby chicks and them out together. He was chasing them away every time they came close.

    Is he a rooster?

All 4 were pulled from a pullet bin, and I', pretty sure there's only one cockerel. The one I think is, has a short tail feathers, and wattles that are bigger then the other 3.

    Is he a rooster?

I thought I read some where that roo tail feathers develop slower the hens? #1 is the only one with short tail feathers, the other 3 tails are all the same.

    Is he a rooster?

The first one is the one I think is a roo, the other 3 have the same tail feathers.

No, mine don't look like that, but he's much younger then yours, just a month old, doesn't have all his wing feathers yet.

Would it be possible to tell if the rouen is a male from the green sheen on his head when he's in the right lighting?
