I can see them, so precious! I can only hear peeping maybe still too young to sex by voice but if you pick one up you may get a quack. Pick one up and walk away from the other one and do it with both a different times that can usually get a good quack out of them if not too young.

Would it be possible to tell if the rouen is a male from the green sheen on his head when he's in the right lighting?

My females also had a sheen when they were younger and lost it when they got their adult feathers. What color are their bills? My males had a yellowish green bill when they were juvenile. Like in this picture.

It's very faint, but in the right light I can see it.
