It's hard to tell, they both quack at the same time, and it's more of a high pitched, not raspy sound.
Do you know if they're a risk for flight when I take them outside? Should I keep them in a coop/with a run?

Are you able to get a video? At this point, it sounds like they're females. Something definitely could get them while free-ranging, and they need somewhere to get away from the weather, so yes, they do need a coop.
