    That is true! Because when we first pick any of them up, most them struggle and scream and carry on. i just hate the thought that it is holding still in hopes that the threat will go away. i truely want them to enjoy being with me and around me.

    i was holding her, /him s/he climbed up my shoulder walked into my hair and sat down, twice. we pulled her out an she walked up my left breast an shoulder and burrowed in and gets quite upset when i try n get her out.

    They are a blueish grey look like ashes. So they are called blue ash. As far as I know.

    I really had my heart set on trying to get an ash tom, so beautiful and they'd be so unusual. But I do not want to have to get any shipped from a hatchery in the mail.

    My dad's female turkeys used to be very very sweet, they started out of the blue attacking him and nipping at him and fluffing up big and doing the I am going to kick your arse walk they do when they are feeling rude. And he hasn't done anything to them either.

    Thank you every one, we got some antibioti powder to put in her water, and we got the blue cote, and she's feeling a bit friskier now, so hopefully the shock is wearing off. We just have to watch and see and hope.
