    Do I bath a broody hen?

    i have bathe some of my broodies when they have a broody poo butt . but have found out that one should use very warm water (not to Hot )when doing this and blow dry . this will contiune her on the broody mood otherwise she might stop brooding if you use a cool bath

    crusty yellow stuff on vent corners

    she might just be cold even though it is warm she might need a little comfort heat after the move ,have you add vitiaman in the water. she might need a little food moisted up ith some vitiamans in it to comfort her. sounds strange but i have had to do this and it works. what ever you do good...

    so sorry to hear of your loss . i am not chicken wishper but here is a few thing to look into frist if you have a heat lamp was it a clear one if so i would go to a red one ASAP! this will calm them down . then i am sure they had plently of feed an water, they get board so i would get a flock...
