She was weak, lost weight, pale comb - I did give her a de-wormer yesterday but obviously it was too late. I will treat all hens now. From what I've been reading, it's better to just treat routinely. Right?
We had a chicken die tonight - I "think" due to worms - by the time I realized what was ailing her - it was too late. I did give her dewormer, but again, too late. Anyway, she was separate from the other girls for a couple of days. The other girls aren't showing any signs - but do I treat...
I've tried to check her vent for maggots but she keeps getting away from me - good I think because she is moving faster. She ate the watermelon and her tail is up today. It's also 20 degrees cooler today. I'll check her crop and vent tonight when she gets in the coop.

I'm new here and I need some help! I applied Blu- Kote to some of my hens because they were pecking each other. THEN I read something about not using it on animals for food production. Can someone tell me if it's safe to eat the eggs?
I had some chickens getting pecked, so I sprayed Blu-Kote on them. Then I noticed the warning - that it is to not be sprayed on animals that produce food. Does this mean I shouldn't eat the eggs?
