    They are about 9 months old. I guess the question is, is it ok to leave them out? They are in a run that is completely covered in chicken wire (floor too), so they are safe from predators. Not sure. Two of them one inside and one outside (sleepers) have had their bottom feather plucked out...

    We finally got eggs

    Our easter egger and plymouth barred rock finally laid eggs yesterday. One blue, one brown. I don't remember feeling this excited in the longest time. All that work, time, care finally paid off. Kids ate the eggs today. I'll post pics later
