    We have eight different breeds, and most of them are pullets for sure. These two I am unsure about! I could use some help. One is it a speckled Sussex, the other is an Olive Egger, I’m guessing a mix of cuckoo marans and legbar.

    Thanks. I think I'll try the cone idea. We have a roost in there, but it's only 3 inches high. They get on it sometimes. Maybe I'll try making it higher too.

    How do I keep my chicks from perching on top of the food and water jars? They are almost 4 weeks old, and two of them like to be up there pretty consistently. Then they poop and I have to clean out the feeder and waterer several times a day. What can I do?

    No, I think the first one is a pullet for sure, and the third one. It's the second one (yellow one) that's the roo (I think).

    I'm Jill and my husband got me 3 baby chicks for my birthday a few weeks ago! One RIR, one BO and one EE. They are named Mimi, Gigi and Fifi. I'm hoping they're all pullets, but the BO appears to have a large pink comb, so I'm wondering if she is a he. I'll post pictures on the gender board so...
