Please help! I think I have a rooster!

I got three baby chicks (supposed to be pullets) a few weeks ago. The RIR is now 4 1/2 weeks old, and the BO and EE are 3 1/2 weeks old. My cute little BO decided to start growing a huge comb and two days ago it started turning pink! Do you think she is a he? And how long will it be until I know for sure?

Wow, that is quite the comb! I guess you'll know if it starts crowing!

If I'm not mistaken though, don't RIR hens have larger red combs than some other breeds?

Oh I just reread that it's the BO that's got the comb. Yeah, my BO that's almost 2 months has no comb, so I might tend to think it's a roo.

I also have a buff orpington chick and she does not have a comb like that. She is about 6 weeks and I would believe that yours is a rooster! Sorry!!

No, I think the first one is a pullet for sure, and the third one. It's the second one (yellow one) that's the roo (I think).
