Hi... sounds like she may have been egg bound, or had an egg stuck to me.
She probably is laying soft shells because she doesnt have enough calcium...
Be sure to incorporate that into her diet.

My wyandotte is limping, she is spreading her wing out when she lays down to take the pressure off of her leg, and her tail is drooping.
I am not sure if she is egg bound or what (any signs for that)?

I am finally getting my first few eggs...
Well, 2 days ago I went out to the coop to collect the eggs.
I saw one on the ground and picked it up...
It had no yolk and teh shell was broken! It was dark brown and I was expecting a full one the next day...
Now, the dark brown eggs...
