    My barred rock and Buff orpingtons have been laying about a month. The eggs are getting bigger but are still a little smaller than what they should be in my opinion. How long after they start laying should you wait to incubate their eggs? Can't wait to try!

    Incubator troubles

    I was having the same problem with mine. I found on YouTube how to modify a water heater thermostat and now mine stays within about a degree. All u do is drill a few small holes in the thermostat so the heat can get to the wafer quicker. Bit pull it up on YouTube. Good luck!
