Day 29 and still no duckies.... Should I be concerned?

I'm not new to hatching chicks... I've been doing it for years, but this is my first time with ducks. I candled them like three days ago and everyone looks good accept one I think is dead. It is now day 29 and still no ones hatching. Should I be concerned? These are Call Duck eggs.

Is it abnormal for chicks to start laying at 3 ½ months?

Quote: I got two of them when they still had their egg tooth on (plus they came shipped from a hatchery so they hadn’t even eaten yet) so I’m pretty sure about their age… the other one I got when it was still quite little… so the breeder that sold me the chick couldn’t have been that off about...

Is it abnormal for chicks to start laying at 3 ½ months?

I had three silkie pullets that started laying last night… one of them died from being egg bound. I was wondering how common it was for them to do this? My other silkies didn’t start until 7-8 mo. The chicks were not all from the same breeder either.

    New to it all!

How old are your chicks? How did one disappear? As far as I know you cannot tell if the egg is fertile or not until it has been in the incubator for a few days. You have to wait for your girls to go broody and then they will sit on the eggs. The kind of chickens you have influences how often...

    Hot Silkie?

Hi all! I have this lavender silkie pullet that is about 6mo old I want to show her in the fair this summer, but I am concerned about the heat. She had to be pulled from a sale cage during a spring APA show because she was panting and acting overly hot. The previous owners seem to think she will...

DIATOMACEOUS EARTH...Does It Work??? Fleas, Ticks, Lice, Internal?

I use it in addition to Poultry Protector Concentrate and I would say it works. I always apply human grade DE with a face mask on because one time I breathed some in and I felt like I was going to die, but then I am sensitive to that kind of stuff.
