    My chicks are exactly 1 month old today. We ordered 9 hens but they sent us 16 roosters. They are blowing through food and of course they had to send us a heavy breed so they are 2 times bigger than the original 9. When will they be old enough to sell?

    I think my chicken has the worm

    My Ausrolorp hen came out of the house this morning. And when she pooped a 1" white thin worm was moving in her poop. As soon as i saw that i ran and got a shovel and threw the poop out of the coop. Any suggestions on what it is.

    Help please....I'm new to chickens and have questions!

    You can have two but usually you only need one rooster to keep the hens from fighting. And to fertile the eggs if you want to hatch them. Plus you don't want the roos fighting cause they could possibly hurt each other.

    I was gonna get a few chukar on Monday and i was just wondering if they can live with pheasants?
