    I would suggest nesting boxes with lids just in case... also do you plan on raising ducklings if so the eggs need to be brought inside into a brooder, but otherwise I think the eggs would be fine to eat ... but I would open one or two first just to be sure.

    Q#1 - Mallards are great mommas and daddies too but it can vary per duck so watch out Q#2 YUP normal mallard egg coloration Q#3 Take turns and depends on which duck the mallard is paired w/ Q#4 a week at most but check every few days...
