    I have barn cats and they don't bother my adult chickens or my 6 week olds, however I think they would think about going after anything smaller than a 6 week old. I would just watch and see how the cats reacted.

    He could just be a bit slower to grow for whatever reason. Does he behave fine or sickly? Even if he is not sick seperating him will make sure he gets enough food. Being so much smaller makes it easier for the rest to push him away from the food.

    I would like to know as well. You decribed one of mine from my last hatch. We ended up putting it down because I just could not stand to watch it suffer so. Mine also seemed to have a crooked neck. It never could strieghten(sp) it out.
