My favorite silkie, a pullet, has started stumbling/tripping a lot. I have a sick feeling in my stomach that she has it too...if she has it, I'm not going to have the heart to get any more silkies.
He was put out of his suffering this morning.
I'm terrified that if it was Marek's, my other silkies would get it. I cleaned their cage after I separated him. Is there anything else I could do early on that might help if they do contract it? I don't want to lose all of them...
Anyone have any guesses about the genders of my silkies? I have one that is a confirmed female, but she's older than these guys. I don't really know how old these ones are now.
Terk - pullet? I sure hope so. (Clucks instead of peeps now!)

Kiara (Simba?) - this one beats the others...
His pupils look like they're getting smaller, but his eyes are still brown, not gray. His full paralyzed leg is sticking straight out in front of him, the not completely paralyzed one is kinds tucked under him in the normal way they'd sit.
They were all in contact with other chickens, we...
Then no, I don't believe we have any antibiotics...I don't know if dad would be willing to buy any. His philosophy is if it costs more to treat the animal than it did to buy it, it isn't worth it
He and mom both want to cull Phoenix. They said there's no point in trying.
I don't know if electrolyte water counts as antibiotics, but that's all I have..
They're being fed Blue Seal layer crumbles (I protested that since they're young and whatnot, but my mother insisted that it'd be fine). Their food isn't moldy or anything, they get fresh dry food every day. I got a...
I regretfully inform everyone that another of my silkie chicks is coming down with whatever it was that Charmin died from.
His name is Phoenix. He can't stand or walk, and wont eat or drink. Just like Charmin, it came on very suddenly.
I'm force feeding him egg yolk and electrolyte water...
Well, I talked to my mother about it, and she said I shouldn't have even introduced Garth to them. I don't know how she expects them to ever be able to live together if I don't introduce them, but I guess it doesn't matter.
What of Kiara's aggression? How long does it take for them to sort...
I have 5 silkies and a silkie x serama cross that I want to live together, but they're having aggression problems. I don't know all of their genders yet. Some of these pictures are old, but I don't have more recent ones at the moment.

Garth, the silkiexserama cross rooster...
I definitely think he's a mix. We got him when it was dark, and he was too stressed out for me to get my hands on him too good last night. I held him and whatnot this morning and he definitely doesn't feel like a silkie. Her silkies were in with other breeds, but I don't know what they were - I...
