Another silkie baby can't stand or walk

electrolytes help alot but are not all answer.. You can dip bread in electroyle water and give her bites of it for nutrition too and will give her fluids that she doesn't choke on

Then no, I don't believe we have any antibiotics...I don't know if dad would be willing to buy any. His philosophy is if it costs more to treat the animal than it did to buy it, it isn't worth it

He and mom both want to cull Phoenix. They said there's no point in trying.

She said its a liquid that can be given orally. How much should we give him?

I don't mg per lb on dosage of liquid. But if for people figure adult gets so much and cut amount down to chicken size. I would give at least 1/4 of big person dose. It is so much better to give some antibiotic than to just give up. If it is livestock penicillin then I would give 1/2cc.

Just got some PenG and cod liver oil into him. Fingers crossed..

I think of buying bottle of medicine as able to doctor alot more than one chicken with it. I feel bottle of tylan 50 is good investment. It may or may no cure this little silkie but it sure might cure the next one you treat with it. Anyways just a thought
