Rooster ripped her up really bad and took a chunk out of her neck when she was still pretty young. I had to keep my other goose in the tub too as they were already close.

Spring is finally here, ducklings getting some sunshine and escaped pullets hunting for bugs.

It was stinky and messy but she would have died. She is the one in my profile picture. I had to save her cute fluffy butt.

I guess I am not the only crazy chicken lady. Lol I have had a sick chicken in my living room and an injured goose living in my bath tub!

Yeah, when the skunks killed my 50 chickens, they were all ones I raised and I hatched most of them. They didn't even eat them just locked on to their backs behind the wings and drank their blood. I was sobbing scooping up their bodies when my son found me and sent me back inside. Later when...

Just the one so far for me. The others are taking their sweet time though I hear some chirping in there. Hopefully soon.

I did and I think I am close. Most were way off but one was only .2 C off so I try to rely on that one. You would think that with the prices of incubators, the companies could do a lot better job in designing and constructing them.

Nope, I have gone out of my way to acquire non-related stock. It has to be the temps. I have tried to get them correct. It is so frustrating. I just don't know if they are too high or too low. I spritz with water once a day up until the final days.

Yes but they have reasons for their scarring. It is a defining moment and monumental tradition in scarring their bodies. Not so much with American women. It is just a flaw to be judged over. And I would love to have my appendix back if it hadn't tried to kill me. Lol
