You know you love chickens when....
You bring your lonely injured guy into the living room so that he can hear voices. I'm cheeping to him too. His wound has scabbed up good and he's eating a drinking. Still scratching a bit but now that it's scabbed up it looks okay, hopefully he won't scratch the scab off.

I was just out collecting eggs, and my Drake began to follow me up the hill. The dog playfully guided him away from me (the dog is cool with all the birds). The drake went after the dog, and the dog went after the drake. The dog finally gave up. I thought my Drake had gone back to his duck, but I suddenly heard the slapping of webbed feet on the sidewalk. I swear that duck would follow me inside if I had a ramp for him.
