Not exactly sure if they need pools in winter, but mine sure love it all year around. Then again California never really gets winter do we??? I caught them in the pool having a grand old time in the middle of the night @ 22°.
Thanks guys! And that is exciting to hear that she will probably start laying again in the spring, but again still wouldn't get rid of her even if she didn't. I also wanted a pool deep enough for them to dive if they wanted to.
I guess these things happen. But also learned that as much as I want them free ranging, unless I don't mind a few missing here and there, I have to make a secure pen for them. Unless I'm watching them. I'm sure with time i will let them free range again, but they're my babies!
