thanx lynn in oklahoma, i am considering trying a splash or blue sumatra w/my american game hens. did your cross have good personalities? my splash 3 mo. old chicks will walk right up to my hand to be held. tks, mark- southerngamebirds1

she bit your nipple, oh my, i hope she didnt twist! i have 2 ag hens that are darker in color w/lighter chest (hatch,roundhead) and they are def meaner, more skiitish. my lighter colored ag hens are calmer and less agressive. i like them more and are very muscular, i wish i had more of them- southerngamebirds1

i had fun recently w/american game hen, she hatched three babies and i held her to look at them. she grabbed the skin on my arm and twisted. i put her down and she flogged me on the legs. i think she is hatch, but boy howdy you dont mess with her babies. i think ill keep to silkies for...- southerngamebirds1
