    EMERGENCY DYING DUCK

Oh and we also built him an enclosure. He now shares his area with our very friendly beagle but they are separated (we don't have any more areas that would be safe for the rest of the poultry). He seems to enjoy the dogs company.

    EMERGENCY DYING DUCK

I've started giving him meal worms and small fish from my hands and he is a lot less aggressive. He stopped eating for an entire day and now he has sorta started again.

    EMERGENCY DYING DUCK

Hi new update on the duck. The vet said he may not survive and I shouldn't get my hopes up but he said we should do our best to try and save him. We are praying it is a bacterial infection and nothing worse he gave me antibiotics which are already clearing out the ducks eyes. He now has new...

    EMERGENCY DYING DUCK

Hello! I road my bike to the vet and showed them some photos of the sick duck. The vet was AMAZING, even though he was busy and I didn't have an appointment he still took a look then gave me some GREAT advice. He thinks the duck has the bumble foot and asked me to bring him in (he was basing...

    EMERGENCY DYING DUCK

Ok my feed does have corn in it so the next time we go to buy some I'll ask for a better kind! Thanks! When I first rescued him I thought the best thing for him was to be put down but now I know I may be able to help him I am just so glad this site exists.

    EMERGENCY DYING DUCK

Thanks for all your help! I now think he may also have wet feather because he doesn't produce oil and is always soaked so I have to dry him myself. Is there anything you guys can suggest for this? I've taken your advice and kept him from walking and given him easy access to water and feed so he...

    EMERGENCY DYING DUCK

I've given him food and water and he is totally loving it. He seems to have an eye infection and I am trying to figure out if I should wash his eyes out with warm salt and water but I can't tell if when people say that they mean just salt and water or something else. He also seems to have...

    EMERGENCY DYING DUCK

I just rescued a duck from a near by park as I saw his foot was swollen and he couldn't walk far so I caught him and brought him home. I've kept him away from our other ducks as he may have a disease. I noticed his eyes are not clean and they seem to have some kind of discharge I don't know what...
