Here is a cool video showing just how detailed you can see the chicks in this incubator. My 5 year old and I had a blast watching each egg hatch as we could see everything!!!

All my chicks have now hatched! No issues with the incubator, it has run consistent temperature and humidity and fan has stayed quiet.

if you don't want it to turn, you could just take out the disk that the central pole turns. Without that it doesn't matter if the center pole turns or not.

I think it moves the eggs every 45 minutes or every 1 hour. If you look at it the same time every day (like in the morning at 10am), then the eggs will be where they were the day before. If you instead look at it after a few hours, the eggs should be in different spots.

I stopped using the candler on the unit and use a handheld one. I like how I can candle them without disturbing them this way. Also, it is impossible to see anything after a few days if you do not have the light shining through the air cell and I didn't want to flip the eggs upside down to...

I saw a bit of condensation on the day of hatch. I also only had one egg hatch, so I do not know how much impact multiples hatching would have.

I see that there are new reports of chicks sticking beaks in the fan. Did you guys have the fan cover that you have to request from the manufacturer? @Nathuffman @Pawz4life

Lets see if this video works. I didn't have time to video the actual hatch, but got the commentary after. Sometimes you have to not rush to get a camera and experience life.

I think if I was to buy another incubator, I would go with one that holds a number of eggs that works for the number that you actually buy. If you buy shipped eggs, they are always 6, 12, 18, or 24...with maybe a few extras thrown in because the seller wants to cover any broken ones. I just...

A friend came over and helped me candle the eggs I set on 3/17. I was not able to tell if my eggs were alive or not as the only thing I could see with the candler on the Nurture Right was the air cell. The light on the unit is okay, but it was nothing compared to a handheld flashlight thing...
