Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Can you set them to 28 days ? For like turkeys or ?

I should have the answer to this question since I currently have 1st batch turkey eggs in this bator, but I don't and will check my manual when I get home. Just FYI, was told that the 360 would not turn properly with turkey eggs (to big), but my turkey eggs fit/turn just fine in the 360. However, my peacock eggs are definitely too big to work properly in the 360 turning tray.

Does the heater indicator light still blink ? the heater indicator light is located next to the temperature display.

What is the humidity reading now on incubator?

And what it the room temp ?

-The heating indicator light is blinking red.
-I cannot tell what the humidity is because BOTH of the LED indicators are showing a number 5 in them.
- My house has central air, it has been on the whole time. They are not in a drafty location. My Smart Honeywell thermostat is about 1yr old. It has been, set to maintain, and currently indicates 70deg F. The indoor humidity is currently 63%.

Yes, could set to 28 days.
Press and hold the “MENU” button for 3 seconds, the pre-set “99.5” °F will blink on the screen, continue to press the “MENU” button once will enter into hatch days setting mode, the screen will blink “d - 21”. Then use “+” and “-” to adjust hatch days to 28 days, after this setting is complete, press the “MENU” button once more to exit the setting mode. The incubator now will start to run per the new setting(28 days) you adjusted.

Talkturkey My eggs have no issues in it either . and ive checked before i even turned it on . love my little machines later i will be setting up my monster a Leahy . 6 drawers each hold 50 chickens eggs my local farm shop wants me to hatch their chicks for this this yr . i found where they can order the laying birds for a good price mostly sex links but still a great deal

Thank you so much ive been just turning off the turner and resetting my machine LOL . i will try and have the new one set for turkeys and the older one set for chickens . that was my plan when i won the auction and then the first one worked so well i bought the second for turkeys . these really do over all rock.

Yes, timer count down won't auto back to 21days after each completed hatch, even it is unplugged for a long time.

We programmed it like this is because it is normal sometimes some chicks will later hatch until 22~23, if timer will auto back to 21 days after countdown to 0 day, then on day 22, the egg turner will rolling again, if at this time someone forget to remove the egg turner, will cause the egg turner turning an unhatched egg on day 22, this will affect normal hatch, so this turner won't rolling when count down to 3 days, and won't auto back to 21 days, unless manually operation.

Suggest to use "reset" function which is easier, to reset timer to 21 days, when every time prepare for a new round of hatch.

Thank you for clarifying. I definitely understand why it makes sense to design it this way, but I have to say though, this information really should be in the instructions. The section that talks about resetting reads very much to me like an optional feature. The manual says:

upon plugging into power the unit will begin at 21 days so there is no way a customer can know resetting it is a must for auto turning beyond the first hatch.
Aside from that, and the fan issue I’ve been very happy with the incubator and it’s design. I have an IncuView and a Brinsea Octagon as well and like the Nurture Right a little more than those more expensive incubators!

If the heater indicator light is blinking normally, it means the heater still working correctly to maintain 99.5F and the humidity reading issue of show "5" won't affect hatch.

When you first started the eggs, did they start to rotate immediately or does it take a while? I tested the turner for my Mom and it rotates but she hasn't seen it move yet once setting the 21 days. I'm clueless on this as it's a Grandmommy & Granddaughter project!

I think it moves the eggs every 45 minutes or every 1 hour. If you look at it the same time every day (like in the morning at 10am), then the eggs will be where they were the day before. If you instead look at it after a few hours, the eggs should be in different spots.

@Nurtureright360 I have a couple of questions. While I understand these are not "normal" operating circumstances, for those of us that do staggered hatches, and move eggs around, etc, I wonder how the programming will affect these situations:

1. I had a broody duck abandon her nest. I estimated 10 days left when I put them in the Nurture Right, so I reset the unit, and set the days on 10. Now after candling, I think they weren't as far along as I originally thought. So if I change the counter to 12, will it stop turning on day 5 (which was day 3), or will it continue to turn until the "revised" day 3? (I understand I can do a full reset again, but if I can just increase the days, it would be easier)

2. I'm not sure what the highest day setting is, but I'm considering setting the days to 99 or whatever the highest number is, and just unplugging the turner from the unit on the days I don't want it to turn. Simply unplugging it will stop the turner, correct??

As I said, I realize these aren't necessarily instructions from the manufacturer, but it would be helpful to know how it will behave.
