x3. Can’t stand constant grey weather, or cold weather for that matter. Especially in the spring, what that day of sunshine hits you, and you can just feel that the winter is over. Couldn’t imagine living somewhere with cold and gloomy spring days. I like it here, even if that means putting...

Interesting! I knew about ancient Egyptian incubators, but I imagined that some hens still went broody, helping pass on generational knowledge that is crucial in free ranging situations Brooding is not abundant in my groups, which is something I’d like to change. So no Fayoumis for me it...

    Peeps in Europe!

Not every country has an association. So far, I haven't found a Greek poultry association, and if there is, it's...

Dyed chicks are sold mostly as "child pets", dyed to look more appealing to a child. Most of these sellers, if at all, are not chicken savvy, or have any interest in chickens whatsoever

    Peeps in Europe!

They all look like cockerels. Around their eyes I can see some dye residue, were they purchased as dyed chicks? If so, most, if not all of those are male

    Peeps in Europe!

Oh, I agree. Just like last year with Rhodes. Unfortunately, climate change is the direct result of human greed
