That is my understanding. There is a poultry association on a European level, and quite a few countries and/or regions have their own. I assume Germany has quite a few, Holland too. Dyed chicks are sold mostly as "child pets", dyed to look more appealing to a child. Most of these sellers, if at all, are not chicken savvy, or have any interest in chickens whatsoever- fluffycrow

They all look like cockerels. Around their eyes I can see some dye residue, were they purchased as dyed chicks? If so, most, if not all of those are male- fluffycrow
