    Oh Christ! This is terrible news! And MN won't have the "advantage" of the furnace-like heat that slows the progression of the virus. My fingers are crossed for the poultry keepers in MN!!! I just hope you don't get the people slowing down the efforts at containment.

    No, you never will get any clarity because it's an illegal activity and the folks engaged in it operate under the radar. Nevertheless, it's pretty clear, on an anecdotal basis, that they're the folks moving birds, introducing birds to one another and being the primary vectors of the virus.

    I'm glad to hear that, IgorsMistress! As Breanne has said before, it will happen again. Those fighting birds get transported and cross state and national borders so there's little reason to think this is our last rodeo with vND. And next time it could be AZ, TX, NM or who knows where...
