The last detected was June 4. As of July 4, CDFA has told residents that they would be testing only. Yesterday, a CDFA crew showed up at a residence outside of the city of Riverside and told the homeowners that the whole crew would have to be let inside to test--despite allowing other homeowners to bring birds to the gate themselves for test. When inside, they stepped on two two-day old ducklings. One died. The other is pictured below. They claimed it was just "human error." It resulted in this:

This duckling was still alive yesterday. Due to quarantine, the homeowners cannot move it including to an avian vet.
