That is your own problem to find out, and that's your money to lose in court. I have no dog in the fight (literally) other than to state what is the law. If you wanna find out the hard way, that's your choice. Good luck. You'll need it. This is why SOB will lose when it goes to court. You can't present facts to some people, they don't understand. California is a state where the burglars break in and get hurt, then sue the homeowner and win. It's not worth wasting your effort on people who will never get it. The courts and state leadership are not too bright...just turn on the tv and watch the news.

This is an emotional and not really a valid comparison for a number of reasons. 1) Dogs don't live in flocks. You deal with them, for the most part, 1 or 2 at a time. 2) Because they aren't living in such close proximity as flocks do they wouldn't spread disease in the same manner. 3) Dogs, generally speaking, follow commands. If a dog needs to be put down, you say "come" and the dog comes, "stay" and the dog stays while you administer a single shot.

But, beyond that, if dogs were spreading an incurable disease with 100% mortality in the same manner as vND the answer would be YES, you put down your afflicted pet in the interest of other people's pets.

Euthanizing birds in a flock is an entirely different matter and we can all stipulate that it's chaotic and difficult. That doesn't change the necessity of protecting unthreatened area and flocks from the threat of contagion.

You can’t compare the way that CDFA is euthanizing the poultry in California to the way a dog is put down. It’s literally comparing apples to oranges. They’re gassing, shooting, & stomping chickens to death while a dog gets a lethal injection because it’s man’s best friend.

I was not trying to be sarcastic or hurt you in any way. I have spent decades searching for Truth. That journey has been important to me. My question was an attempt to find a TV program worth watching. I have read your posts and like what I read.

No I don't think you killed the thread. I don't watch tv so I have no idea what truth you're speaking of. I lived in CA at one time, I experienced the truth. Not going to argue with you when you're looking for a punching bag. Moving on...
