Here's the latest quarantine info. Although this is supposedly to apply to fowl (chickens, etc.) which are outdoors, the alert doesn't appear to limit mandatory euthanasia to those, so be aware and know your rights if extermination squads come to your neighborhood!

It was her next door neighbor that got to keep the bird. She was elderly and wasn’t the one to care for outside birds- so no way to transfer to indoor bird from her. Another person in Fontana said they put the peacocks in Park down too and gassed the birds at a local foster farms place.
She’s great. The only health issues she had was being too sexy to a much larger rooster ( thought it was hen) and it really did a number on her head- but she’s extra healthy.
My friend had warned me about this when I adopted Lucky Clucky who was a chicken who just showed up in a tree above my training yard. Compton was under quarantine but thats 20-30 min down the freeway from us so I was highly doubtful she'd fly that far. I did end up catching her and when there...
I’m only in quarantine area but I have covered runs so I won’t have any issues w their excercise. I think you should treat your birds as you would your child w some contagious issue. Keep things clean don’t let other bird people near yours and do the best you can to keep them happy and healthy
You might not have to. The part about bleach is after you’ve killed the bird then you bleach and double bag- anyway I’d just keep them safe- a friend had all indoor brooding birds and they didn’t take them. They left them in her garage - don’t worry about that now maybe they will never get to you
