I agree and understand the barring. I am just saying in my experiences. I know that about 90-95 % will be male with larger head spot. And occasionally one with smaller spot will be.
I had some OE fall into my Brinsea . Both have a cuckoo Marans over them. One is my Olive egger girl and the other is a lavender amerucauna. Trying to get a darker shade of olive (f2) and an olive egger with the amerucauna. Hopefully barred :D
Cool! That is about what I expect, olive tinted eggs from that pullet someday. I'm hoping she is an excellent layer as well.
You can't see in that photo but she has random dark feathers or splotches. Here's a better shot of her showing some of the dark markings.
Here she is a pic with flash...
I had an olive egger roo over white leghorns and I hatched a pullet, from them, that layed a nice olive tinted egg daily, looks just like your white one!

Good morning everyone. I figured I post a few pictures of an olive egger I created using an olive egger roo over a white leghorn hen.
Flash picture is a little lighter than actual picture . She lays like a WL . Daily! To bad I gave her as a chick to one of my brothers friends who wanted to...
Here is my olive egger. She is a small girl. But has really big eggs . The roo I have in there is a BCM . Hopefully I will have a f2 and a shade darker olive .
Thanks the roo is cuckoo marans and the hen is lavender amerucauna. Anyways she is a project I am working on with my cuckoos. Definitely will be hatching some of those eggs . When she starts back laying .
I have a question. Has or does anyone have a
Cuckoo Marans over a lavender amerucauna picture of the offspring? Will they be barred lavender? (Which would be awesome) I have a lavender amerucauna in with my cuckoos to make an olive egger off spring, just curios!
