    I'm not understanding this. To get an olive egger, does one have to have a roo from blue egg breed and breed to a hen from brown egg breed? Can't it goe either way, gender wise? I've got a Cuckoo Marans roo in a run with three Cream Legbar hens and I thought this would give me olive eggers...

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the name!!!! We've had an Omlet, Yolk, Grits, Bacon, still have a Quiche, but never a Scrambles. Definitely the name of the next chick we keep! And the name of our farm? Over Easy Farm!!!!!!!

    I'd let them go for another couple of days. I have had eggs hatch and chicks survive two days after the rest of them hatched. Good luck!
