    Yeah I mean I'm heavily in the Pullet camp here too but ya gotta admit that's a honking pea comb for a 19 week Pullet right?

    Yeah I really suspect some British Araucana heritage is at play here personally. The similarities are extremely striking. As for gender well...this one's a bit of a conundrum

    It could've gotten the crest from elsewhere though. Perhaps some kind of polish cross. Not sure where the pea comb is coming from. The bright orange in the hackles is an odd thing to see on an otherwise mahogany looking bird. I'm perplexed for sure.

    The reason I ask is because, like the Cream Legbar, there appears to be some connection possibly to the UK style of tailed, crested Araucana. Also like the legbar, it appears to have yellow legs. Unlike the legbar however...well basically everything else about this bird actually.

    Yeah at 19+ weeks now that saddle looks very female. That comb, not so much. But yeah this is an odd bird for sure.
