She tested negative yesterday and today so theoretically clear. Who knows, maybe she is one of those whose system kills the virus off before it can replicate.
Thus, back to normal. She was down to show me the test and have lunch. Didn't see her again until just now when she came down to feed...
Appropriate to the title of this thread.
Last Saturday DD2 told us just before dinner she was going to a friend's house after diner for a "few days". Sunday DW and I went to visit her parents as usual. When we got home DD's car was here, she was up in her room.
I asked if we had pulled a Rip...
I understand there are 2 pneumonia vaccines to be taken a year apart. They want you to get them when you hit 65. I had my first last December so should get the other one this December.
:smack
Totally unacceptable!! I can swallow 5 or 6 pills at a time, DD1 ha trouble with one.
I think that is "over 60".
Not at this time. They aren't at all sure how efficacious the current vaccines will be against future variants. As it is, with Omicron, the mRNA vaccines haves dropped to the...
No. You would think there would be a program to test for antibody levels in immune compromised people. We are banking on us remaining on the "mask in public, physical distancing" process.
That said she rarely got sick before Covid descended upon the world so maybe the Humira just beats her...
DW got hers about a week ago. 20+ years on immune suppressing drugs. She had Pfizer for the first 3 but there was none available this time so she got Moderna. Said her arm hurt that day and night but not after.
Nope, still working. We don't have universal health insurance here in the USA you know ;)
Without insurance her immune suppressing drugs would be about $60K-$75K a year. I don't know what insurance through the ACA exchange would be but I'm sure she would need the gold/platinum/whatever is...
They were talking about that on NPR today. People like my wife are still at risk, she's been on immune suppressing drugs for over 20 years - Rheumatoid Arthritis. Who knows if her vaccines have given her any immunity at all. People like her and people who are close to her do not get to let up on...
On a daily basis yes I buy power from the electric company, especially for the Leaf since it makes no sense to charge a 62 kW battery from batteries connected to the solar panels. Plus the Leaf isn't at home during the day 6-7 days a week. It gets charged at night when the utility has lower...
There is no way they can justify those prices.
:wee
That's GREAT!!!! Something so simple and you've been suffering for no reason other than the doctors had no idea what was going on.
Enjoy your new life :)

False
Depends on what EV you drive and how far you drive it.
DW has a 70 mile round trip commute. The Leaf uses about 20 kWh for that trip in the summer, 25-30 in the coldest part of winter.
Lots of people drive a much shorter distance and don't live where it goes significantly below 0°F in...
