I think the resentment is over the fact that mandates cover the employed, but no similar requirements for those receiving assistance--whatever their reason for getting them.

"indirect" mandates are not the same. I am vaccinated but question why part of society can choose to not be vaccinated when they rely on us to support them. Why do they even have a choice? Get your shot before you can get your check!

my problem with the mandates is: why aren't the UNEMPLOYED mandated in any way? I need a vaccine to go to work to pay taxes to support people who don't /can't/won't work?????

businesses around here have mask policy posted at the front door. Some have it optional, others say vaccinated need not mask, some still require all to mask

A friend is still partially paralyzed after receiving first shot of moderna---I know side effects are rare but still I am afraid--"just my luck..." Have been masking and distancing and waiting to be vaccinated when more time has passed. I know numbers can be manipulated to suit anyone's needs...

I've been to Turning Stone once--it is nice. I am not a casino person---went to a concert at the new Empire Resorts Catskills and to see Scott Conant's steak restaurant. Have been to Golden Corral though in Syracuse. no buffets for a while yet I think... don't give out samples at Sam's Club...

and a million commercials on TV promoting them--businesses are offering free goods for people with vaccine card
