Need some help you guy...my 5 mo old Legbar Roo is not his usual energetic self. He started laying around yesterday by himself and is no better this morning. No other visible symptoms. Any suggestions or advice?

I just used a small food processor to chop up the pumpkin & sunflower seeds...mainly because I have many young birds and I wanted to be able to feed the same bucket to the smaller ones as I do the older ones without worrying the seeds were too large.

I used starter/grower because all my birds are young. But you can use any feed, layer, etc...
I added ground up pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and some scratch.
Warm weather actually helps it ferment...in colder climates they often have to ferment indoors where it is warmer...atleast that is...

I would think one of those big plastic food grade barrels would work. You just need to be able to stir it twice daily...add more feed as needed to keep it going. I just started mine yesterday in a 5 gallon bucket and I bought a plastic sieve to scoop it out/drain it. Metal will corrode due to...
I just picked up my ACV yesterday. Going to try this out this week. I have never heard anything about animal protein & fermenting. Please elaborate if there is something I need to know. :)
