For those that feed FF, how do you feed it with larger groups? I have 13 in a pen I am feeding it to and I find myself feeding them 2-3 times a day because my feeder is not big enough. I tried a gravity feeder but the food just gets stuck in it!
That is a 2 1/2 week old silkie chick. I was holding him and he jumped on my dogs head. I have 3 border collies and all will let chickens and ducks crawl all over them. I have no concerns leaving them loose with chickens.
This is my silkie roo Fred. There are 4 chicks under him keeping warm. I go out every night and pick them all up and put them in the coop. And every night there are 3-4 chicks under him keep warm. I call him Momma Fred!
I set her in the tree, I found some branches that were sturdy and set her up. She was very content though. Sat and just looked around while I took a bunch of pictures.
Help!! My white silkie decided he needed a mud bath!!! Silly boy, now he looks paint! I need advice on cleaning him up. I am planning on giving him a bath sometime this weekend, not sure why as he will probably just get dirty again!! What is the best way to bath them? Like a cat or dog or...
He looks like it to me. He has been my favorite all along. i can't wait to see what he looks like in another few weeks. They are going through an akward stage. It was so funny I kept scaring them with the camera flash. They did not appreciate thier photo shoot!
