My New Year Trio. Lavender/Self Blue hatched August 2019.

I used to be on this thread all the time. Now on several groups all dealing with Silkies. Hope all had a Merry Christmas.

Haven't been on in a while. New hatch today. Blue Cream grow out. Older chicks special.

Sorry you lost two of your babies. They aren't that hard really to keep. Most everyone looses in the beginning. You will be fine. Do your research learn as much as you can and go to other chicken social medias.

Troubleshooting for chick death is hard. Usually if they go to homes between 3 to 5 weeks coccidia is a problem. Temperature is a problem from hatch till about a month old as well as pasty butt. Nutritional concerns for the first few months and several other problems stress including where...
