Blue girls at 5 weeks. They are growing fast! (And need names!)
The darker girl is incredibly sweet and calm. The other 3 blue chicks...are freaks.

Me too! The lighter one had challenges, and is a feisty little fighter. Still, the darker girl will cuddle and sit on my lap, so I favor her. She is going to have to have great feathering and topknot.

Aw poor chick, I'm glad she's still a fighter though! When they're both older you'll have to post more photos of them here

From my latest hatch, I decided to keep this little one as a growout. Called it Twinkie

I haven’t been on in a while. The white Silkie cockerel is turning out nicely. The blues (13 weeks), partridge and black (split/paint) (12weeks) are finally past the ugly stage. Although, none are catching my eye like the white one did at that age. We will see!

White Silkie Cockerel at 5 months.

Black split pullet a couple of weeks ago, so maybe 9 or 10 weeks.

Blue pullet (right), 13 weeks. Same Black split (Left) from above now at 12 weeks.

Partridge cockerel @ 12 weeks

Blue boys @ 10 weeks.

Same blue boys at 13 weeks.

Blue pullet at 13 weeks.

It was very cold outside, so wings weren’t held as tightly as usual. Everyone was hunkered down, so it’s hard to see type. Mostly good on all.

Thanks! The light or dark? It’s really too early to say, but so far they both have promising type and wings. (When they aren’t cold lol) One of the boys does as well. The black is going to drown in her own hair. lol

The light coloured blue!

The black does look extremely fluffy already!
