if you google the color breeding chart in the images tab... when you see the chart you like a click on it, usually tell you which site it is from. Or if you click on the image again will usually take you to the site where it is posted, that one is from pintrest which I can't see on their site...

I wouldn't say there is something wrong with your breeding.... But even show quality parent stock would not produce 100% show quality chicks. I would probably not breed that one in the future. But also, Just like any other fault... it could be hiding in one of your mating...

Ya, OE & EE or olive egger & easter egger are both mix breeds. I get that but I wonder if the lav will remain true and make a Lavender Olive or Easter Egger.
Also my buff orp isn't mean, just not sit on your lap friendly.
My hatchery BO disappeared the other day with no signs of predation. Told my daughter to keep an eye out for her, and sure enough she showed up to eat in the middle of the day. She is brooding under my house right now! I cant see her or get to her so she doesn't have any food or water close by...
