Ashley (my wife) is at her moms... i have about 50+ chicks under a week old that need heat, about 300 chicken eggs, 150 quail eggs, 30 duck eggs in incubators... and we just got told it might be 3 days before our power comes back on... i am trying...

    the only thing u are gonna get from Ideal or any other major hatchery is production birds... the reason u have the losses at 2 or 3 years old is they hatchery birds are breed for 1 or at most 2 years of production... many of your heritage breeds will be good into there 4th or 5th year and live...
