    My buffs LOVE pears. They will even chase squirrels out of their orchard. The only drawback is that their shirt fronts are covered in pear juice from August - October.

    Nellie, There is virtually NO bleeding, but you must make sure the little plug is removed from the hole you punch. I found if you punch , and twist, it comes out easily.There is a chart here on BYC about toe punching numbers. I would suggest to assign one to each hatch you do a year. It has...

    Nellie, Try running a fecal check on the birds with white lobes. I had 2,1 year old birds pop up with it, and it was a weird parasite for SC.With the right wormer, everybody is red again.
