Hi again. I have some Marmite that I can't eat (have Celiac). It's expensive and I wasn't sure what to do with what I have. Anyway, I cooked some immature winter squash and put the Marmite in it. The loved it. Found the cat sipping the juices too. Must remember to offer it to everyone and use it...
I hope you don't mind if I translate for the Americans. Mince is ground beef to you guys.
Today, my birds got tomatoes, lettuce, squash, 2 pieces of bread. Not very interesting. Am considering giving them my rice but I may need it for dinner tomorrow.
Well smoothies would be the logical thing to do but it doesn't agree with you. I hate giving my animals anything I won't eat so I don't. Find a human who sees it as valuable.
Mine got lots of fresh collards from the garden in addition to the regular snacks of BOSS and grain. I need to stop. I end up throwing a lot away because it gets pooped on.
I'm British also so I know what mutton is. Lamb in the US tastes nothing like it did in the UK unless you buy Australian lamb. Rarely do as it is prohibitively expensive.
Oatmeal, organic yogurt (I'd left in car for 24 hours by mistake), organic baby arugula (on sale).
They ate every bit. It has been miserably cold--can't even imagine living further north and having birds.

Aww sorry for your loss, but glad to hear your chickens ate well.
Thank you. They were 1/2 in feeder fish 7 for a dollar. They were about 6inches long when they died. I think the bucket was contaminated. Will get a water check tomorrow. They had a good life in the pond and then inside...
Scratch, uncooked brown rice, lots of grapes and a banana. They are looking a little thin, I think, even though their regular food is available on demand. It's getting cold and I feel so sorry for them huddled in their coop. At least the wind if off them.
They probably need more snacks.
Their favorite--bananas that were on sale. They are not impressed with pumpkins and other supposedly chicken favorites such squash. They are spoilt rotten.
