The one in pic is 2 1/2 years old. I'd say yours is probably full grown. I haven't weighed mine, but I can guess they're about 4 lbs. They're a little larger than my silkie hens. Good luck...they are super sweet....even the roosters. Post a pic if you have one.
I agree on broodiness. And excellent mothers too. Sometimes I put my silkies and old english bantam chicks in with my orpington hen and her chicks and no problems.

Yes, I know the feeling. If I'm unsure I leave them and wait until at least day 14, then if I don't see any significant changes I toss :( Good luck to you. Keep me/us posted.
