I appriciate it very much I would love to see pictures if you have. Do you think you can put their coop (5x8) outside their run and that they have an access to their run when they want to ? Then you can put your 4x4 inside of the run. Good luck with your new banthams.

Thx guys, I will add a lot of ventilation on top. I've found 8x12 shed that looks like that workshop shed at graigslist. They say it was a display shed and never been used for $950 but how will I get it to our backyard is the hard part now. I don't have a trailer or a pick-up truck. I'll...

It already has windows and flower boxes. It's the second shed that says "The Workshop". I have to call them to see if they deliver. The only option they give is to call or go there.

I just found this website http://www.shedsunlimited.net/Woodsheds.html for the price of 5x8 chicken coop, I can get 8x14 workshop shed, YAY :-)
building a bigger run isn't an issue. We have a HUGE backyard and run was never a problem. Thank you everyone for responding and giving me information. I'm looking for 10x10 shed that can be converted to chicken coop or a already made chicken coop that size.
I wasn't going for cuteness as much as I was going for what's best for them. The reason I wanted to be portable is tha lack of sun they'll be getting during winter and shade during the summer. Who says there can't be nice and sufficent coops out there ? I have seen so many nice coops out here.
I want them to be comfortable and happy. I've worked so hard with the things I have and spared no expence to their needs. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions and not enough experince on my part, their current setting isn't working out. I will bent on backwards just to make them happy and...
I have all types of chickens, I really don't know all their breeds but the one's I know are, 1 americana rooster, 3 americana hens, 3 silkies, 2 orpington roosters, 4 orpington hens and 2 rhode island, and few bantham and the rest I don't know. Their new run will be 50x20 or 60x10 not sure of...
I'm confused. Searching for a new chicken coop or a shed that holds up to 3 ducks, 4 hens, 18 chickens (25 in all) I already have 3x5 2 floor coop which I'll be using that one too. I figured I'll get 5x8 quaker that holds up to 20-25 chickens as they advertised but if I need 4 sq ft per chic...
