    Sonoran Silkies, thanks for the info. His wattles and comb are very dark purple and his ears are a pretty turquoise. Camera just didn't show it. I have a really nice gray splash Silkie hen with good confirmation, dark skin and they are both so cuddly and tame. That might be a good combo to try...

    WOW, thanks for all the great feedback and tips on Sizzles. So what kind of chicken do I have here, besides a cute little Mutt? Any more ideas on what breeds he came from? Body looks a bit more like a Sebright than a Cochin to me.

    Just got this little guy and the lady says he is a Sizzle. I think that means he is part Silkie. Photo doesn't show it well, but he has purple comb and wattles and turquoise ears.
