I'm still here too.....down in Prineville (Via Austin, Tx). I've got 7 girls, BCM, Easter Egger, Welsummer, Brown Double Laced Barnevelder & just got 3 Mottled Java pullets yesterday. No one is laying yet, come late September I'll start getting eggs.

The girls are a month old today. Here they are enjoying a little guided outdoor time.

I sold 5 chicks and now have 4 (that I'm keeping) that will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. Little Vera the EE was SOLID black at a day old is now feathering out dark bark brown and black partridge along the back and wings, while the chest is coming in sort of a gold .
